TPACK was formed to help 21^st century teachers organize instruction and make sure students understand what information is being taught. Teacher’s knowledge of content, pedagogy and technology are important aspects that effect the way students’ learn. TPACK is technology used in teaching about how concepts are represented to learners. Teachers can use TPACK to organize their knowledge by focusing on what they know and how each analyzes what they know.

21^st century teaching and learning in education is how students of today use technology to advance their learning in this modern day digital revolution. Teachers have to create a balance to address the needs of learners with the learning experience. Technology is an ever-changing and evolving tool that can ensure that students and teachers can keep up with the pace of innovation and stay current with today’s thinking.

Part II- Evernote Strategy

Evernote is a great tool that made taking notes a breeze. By being able to use different fonts, colors and images, my notes are loaded with lots of details that help highlight important points in my thought process. Mental images are the most memorable to me.

Technology-

Technology plays such a huge role in how children access knowledge. The ever-changing digital world has created endless possibilities in learning. I am very interested in technology that aids young children in the classroom. Adaptive technology can empower students with special needs. Devices like the Trackball device, aids youngsters in learning to use the computer mouse. Tobii Assistive Technology is a computer that uses gaze interaction to allow those with disabilities to use only eye movement to control the computer. For the artists in my classroom, Zimmer Twins is an interactive web tool that allows children to write, illustrate and animate their own stories. The Class Dojo is a great reward system for teachers to award points for students displaying good behavior. Currently, the only technology I use on a daily basis is my computer and cell phone. My desire is to become a teacher in Pre-K. Helping children build foundational skills in their learning would be so rewarding.
